These particular clients dreamt of an Italian Villa in the midst of an Israeli suburb. Yet their points of references were less visual than sensual. More important for them was the sensations of warmth and texture, of erosion and a process by which their home would become an ageless element within its surroundings. Constructed in fair-faced concrete with ochre pigmentation, the home is typified by its integration within the site and its adoption of parasitical vegetation that has acted as an additional indication of permanence.
